Q & A

What time should I arrive?

If you're joining us for the ceremony, please meet at the Abney Park café (High Street entrance) at 13:15, where our wedding party will direct you to the chapel. It's about a 10 minute walk from the cafe through the park to the chapel.

If you're joining us afterwards, we'd love to see you for our confetti exit around 14:30.

Evening guests, we'll see you at the Londesborough from 19:00.

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?
Exit the park via the Church Street side - the pub is a 10–15 minute walk away.

Is there any parking?

No, so we'd recommend arriving by public transport.

What's the plan for food?

We'll have a meal together at the Londesborough. Guests can choose from our menu on the day, so please let us know on your RSVP if you have any dietary requirements. For those arriving in the evening, there will be some dance floor snacks too.

Are children welcome?

Due to the small venue capacity the day will be adults only, apart from the very little ones in our wedding party.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We'd love for you to take photos afterwards, but please keep cameras and phones away during the ceremony itself - our photographer, Ellie, will have it covered.

Do you have a gift registry?
We're not expecting gifts and know a lot of you will have travelled to spend the day with us! If you did want to bring a gift, we're saving up for our honeymoon next year so a contribution towards that would be very gratefully received.

I don't live in London, where should I stay?

See our suggestions below. Otherwise there will be plenty of options on Airbnb or hotels a bit further afield. Nearest stations are Manor House (Piccadilly Line) or Dalston Kingsland.

Any other questions?

Please drop either of us a text. If you're hoping for a speedy reply, Soph is your safest bet...
